A Letter from the 2008 President
Greetings
We are excited about this years New Mexico Christian Convention! We were so glad that your family attended last year and we want to invite you to the 2008 New Mexico Christian Convention.
Our theme is Wii: when influence increases. Many have asked me, “what in the world is Wii?” I must admit I had to be informed on the new video craze but I now answer, “Wii is what’s in the world.”
Jesus commissioned us to influence the world around us. Our influence increases when we intentionally live for Jesus Christ in every facet of our life. We are going to focus on what happens “when influence increases.”
Dusty Rubeck, President of Dallas Christian College will be our speaker. He will bring us a refreshing voice to the topic of influence. He will be joined by a team of students from DCC who will be
ministering to our children during the convention.
We are in a different location on the beautiful campus of LifeWay Glorieta Conference Center. This years NMCC will be in the Aspen Auditorium and will give us the room we need for our growing event.
You know from last year that the convention was a great, so we look forward to you attending the 2008 NMCC the weekend of April 25-26. Please mark your calendars and take advantage of your special pre-registration rate.
We have made the registration process even easier this year. You can make all the arrangements with us by completing the Registration Card and we will do the rest! We ask that you complete both sides of the
enclosed form and send one check to New Mexico Christian Convention.
You can register on-line, too. We are utilizing the safe PayPal process for our on-line registrations beginning in early December. Visit our new website at www.newmexicocc.com for updates and more information about the NMCC.
I look forward to seeing you again at the 2008 NMCC.
With Increasing Influence,
Steve Ormord,
NMCC President
